ACS Implements Project In California
Dallas-based ACS said this morning that it has recently implemented a program for the State of California, covering electronic benefit transfers. The firm said the program, part of a seven year contract with three optional one-year extensions, provides electronic benefits to 1.3 million California residents on public assistance. The firm says it the federal government and the State of California are expected to save more than $20M annually from the project. ACS is providing transaction processing, data center services, training, and more as part of the contract.
