BMC Wins J.B. Hunt

Houston-based BMC Software reported today that it has signed on trucking and transportation logistics firm J.B. Hunt Transport Services as a customer. The firm said that J.B. Hunt is using its BMC Control-M workload automation products, for controlling batch and enterprise applications on its mainframe and distributed environments. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. J.B. Hunt is also using BMC's tools for managing its DB2 database.
