Cirrus Logic Sees Boost From Audio Products

Austin-based Cirrus Logic reported its fiscal Q3 2010 financial results, saying that it had a 49 percent jump in revenues from the quarter, primarily as a result of market share gains in portable audio. The firm said that the quarter--which ended December 26th--saw revenues of $65.2M, up from the $43.8M during Q3 of the prior year, and up from the $55.7M in the previous quarter. In addition to shipments in portable audio, Cirrus said it also saw a general recovery in its traditional industrial business.
