Rackspace Revenues, Profits Grow

San Antonio-based Rackspace Hosting announced its results Tuesday afternoon, reporting that it had net income of $9.0M on revenues of $169.5M in the fourth quarter of 2009. The firm's revenues were up 18.4 percent, year-over-year, boosted significantly by growth in the firm's cloud revenues. Rackspace said that its cloud revenues were up 124.8 percent from 2008 for the full year, reaching $71.1M in the quarter and $56.4M for the full year. Rackspace said it now has 56,671 servers under management, and 90.925 customers.
