Molecular Imprints Announces New HDD Manufacturing Product
Austin-based Molecular Imprints, which develops nanopatterning systems for the hard disk drive and semiconductor industry, said this morning that it is rolling out a new product focused on hard disk drive manufacturing. The firm said its new, NuTera HD7000 is designed for creating patterned media, used by disk drive manufacturers to advance areal density. Pricing on the new system was not announced, however, the firm said it has sold thirteen of the systems to hard disk drive manufacturers.
