Firm Expands In Plano

A California provider of electronics testing services is expanding in Plano, more than doubling its space in the city. According to California-based National Technical Systems, it is doubling its space in Plano, where it provides EMi/EMC/ESD testing services to firms, including telecommunications products, information technology products, industrial products, and other electronics and aerospace products. The firm said it is expanding from 25,000 to 50,000 square feet, with the addition of large, EMI chambers -- 62 feet by 36 feet by 24 feet -- capable of testing unmanned vehicles, military vehicles, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The firm did not say if the expansion also includes additional employment at the location.
