Samsung Electronics Plans Big New Office In Plano

Samsung Electronics America said on Friday that it plans to open up a big new office in Plano, where it will relocate its North Texas teams from Richardson and Plano. According to Samsung, the new headquarters will be in a newly redeveloped, 216,000 square foot building owned by Regent Properties. Samsung Electronics said it will begin occupying the building in the first quarter of 2019. Samsung Electronics said more than 1,000 employees from its two locations in Richardson and Plano will be relocated to the new facility, which includes departments in customer care, mobile, mobile R&D, and engineering.
