National Instruments: $1M To Medical Device Startups Since 2008

Austin-based National Instruments said today that the firm has awarded more than $1 million in software, support, and training to various medical device startups since 2008. NI said that it has awarded 59 grant recipients with its technology, including its NI LabVIEW software, as part of its program to help very early stage medical devices startups. National Instruments gives up to $25,000 in software and services to startups in the medical device area.
