National Instruments Names New CFO

Austin-based National Instruments announced this morning that it has named a new CFO. National Instruments said that Karen Rapp has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer, starting on May 9th, to oversee its global finance and IT organizations. Rapp will report to CEO Alex Davern. Rapp was most recently Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at NXP Semiconductor. She also has served at Freescale Semiconductor and Motorola.
