FreeFlight Selected By FAA

Waco-based FreeFlight Systems, a developer of avionics systems, reported today that the firm has been selected by the FAA for ADS-B testing. The firm said its 1203 WAAS GPS receiver was selected for testing in Alaska. Financial impact of the win was not dissclosed. The FAA is implementing the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast system, as a part of next generation aircraft navigation systems.
