CREDANT Gets Defense Contract

Dallas-based CREDENT Technologies, a developer of endpoint data encryption software, said today that it has been awarded a contract from the Department of Defense. The firm said its endpoint encryption software will be used by the DOD's Office of the Inspector General. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed. CREDANT's software will be used to encrypt data on both laptop and desktop systems.
