SolarBridge Gets $1.5M From Texas Emerging Technology Fund
Austin-based SolarBridge Technologies, a developer of microinverters for the photovoltaic power industry, said today that it has been awarded $1.5M from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund (TETF). SolarBridge said the new funding will go towards accelerate product development of its microinveters. The firm said it expects to hire 15 new employees in its Austin headquarters, and double the size of its headquarters. The firm said it expects to add a total of 60 new employees to the location over the next 3 years. SolarBridge was formerly known as SmartSpark Energy Systems. The firm's products are used to convert DC power from solar panels into AC household energy. More information »
