CryoPen Gets $2M From Texas Emerging Technology Fund
Corpus Christi, Texas-based CryoPen, which is developing cryosurgery technology for the removal of a variety of skin lesions, has scored $2M in a funding round from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. According to the South Texas Regional Center for Innovation & Commercialization (STRCIC), CryoPen's technology helps dermatologists, family physicians, pediatricians, general practitioners, and other health care professionals remove skin lesions without specialized equipment, facilities, or training. The Texas Emerging Technology Fund is a $200M investment fund created by the Texas Legislature in 2005. More information »
