SailPoint Wins Sallie Mae, Societe Generale

Austin-based identity management software provider SailPoint said today that it has signed Sallie Mae and bank Societe Generale as customers of the firm. SailPoint said the two are using its SailPoint IdentityIQ product to automate their identity-related compliance processes. Financial details of the wins were not disclosed. SailPoint said its software is helping the customers more easily comply with regulations that require regular audits and certification of access privileges, including SOX, FISMA, Basel II, PCI and the European Union's Data Protection Directive.
