SolarBridge Raises $15M
Austin-based SolarBridge Technologies, a developer of micro-inverter technology for the photovoltaic (solar) power industry, announced today that it has raised $15M in a Series B funding, led by Rho Ventures. Battery Ventures, its Series A investor, also invested in the round. According to SolarBridge, its total funding now standsa t $27M. SolarBridge's microinverters help provide more efficient photovoltaic power, by controlling individual photovoltaic modules rather than being tied to a string of modules. The firm's products help those modules perform better in the case of shading, soiling, and performance degradation of individual modules. More information »
