Topaz Labs Ships Noise Reduction Plugin

Dallas-based Topax Labs, a developer of image and video processing plug-in software, said late last night that it has released a new version of its Topaz DeNoise plug-in, which works with software such as Adobe Photoshop, Aperture, and Lightroom. The plug-in is used to remove noise in images and photographs. According to Topaz Labs, Topaz DeNoise 4 adds a new method of noise reduction and will help photographers who regularly shoot in low lighting or high speed environments. The firm said the software effectively gives photographers four more stops of light. Noise from electronic sensors is a major source of degradation on low light digital photographs.
