Waste Management Invests In Plastics Technology Firm
Houston-based Waste Management has made a strategic investment in MicroGreen Polymers, a startup developing plastics technology, MicroGreen said Wednesday. MicroGreen, which is based in the Seattle area and develops technology to reduce the need for plastics as a raw material, said that Waste Management led a $6.9M, Series B funding for the firm, which also included WRF Capital, Northwest Energy Angels, and other private investors. MicroGreen's technology creates bubbles within solid-state plastics to expand the plastic and improve its functionality. More information »
