Waste Management Invests In Biofuels Firm
Houston-based Waste Management said Friday that it has invested in a California biofuels maker, Fulcrum BioEnergy, to the tune of $70M. WM said it has agreed to provide the secured loan facility to Fulcrum, for a biofuels plant being developed by Fulcrum BioEnergy in Nevada. The two also said they have agreed to a master project development agreement on FUlcrum projects, using using municipal solid waste supplied by subsidiaries of Waste Management under long-term feedstock agreements.
