Karmaback Takes On Social Networking Sweepstakes

Austin-based startup Karmaback said today that it has launched a new site, which looks to help companies grow their social media community by awarding prizes through sweepstakes on Facebook, Twitter, and other websites. The firm, which is run by Harlan Titus Beverly, former founder of Bigfoot Networks, looks to award users with free products, sweepstakes opportunities, and other rewards for adding Facebook fans, Twitter followers, and Facebook likes. The firm is a part of the Austin Technology Incubator. Karmaback said its platform is a "variable success-based pricing model" which only rewards users when real and relevant fans, likes, or followers join a company's community.
