Syndiant Announces Display Controller ASIC

Dallas-based Syndiant, a developer of high resolution microdisplays for the pico projector market, said today that it has shipped a new display controller ASIC. The firm said the new SYA1022 product works alongside its LCOS display panels, and is targeted at embedding into mobile and handheld devices. The firm said it expects to have production quantities of the product available in September, with engineering samples available immediately. Syndiant is backed by the Texas Emerging Technology Fund and angel investors.
