Silicon Labs In Patent Lawsuit

Austin-based Silicon Laboratories said Monday afternoon that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against competitor Airoha Technology Corporation. According to Silicon Laboratories, the lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Federal District Court in Austin, claims that Airoha has infringed on two patents related to its mixed-signal integrated circuits. The firm said it is seeking a permanent injunction against the infringing products. The patents in question are United States Patents No. 6,226,506 and No. 6,233,441.
