Silicon Labs Hails Win At ITC In Patent Spat

Austin-base semiconductor developer Silicon Labs hailed a win this week at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), saying that the ITC found no patent violation by the company or its customers in a dispute over its silicon TV tuner products. The ITC investigation of Silicon Labs came via a complaint of competitor Cresta Technology in February of 2014, which alleged patent infringement by Silicon Labs and its customers on three patents. Silicon Labs said it "vigorously defends itself" against what it called "all unjustified allegations of infringement."
