Dell Names New Chief Marketing Officer

Round Rock-based Dell said this week that it has named Karen Quintos as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Quintos has been at Dell for more than 10 years, and reports directly to Michael Dell. Quintos was most recently VP of marketing for Dell's global public business, and also served at VP of Marketing for Dell's Americas commercial business. Dell said Quintos replaces Erin Mulligan Nelson, who has departed for Austin's Bazaarvoice.
