MicroTransponder Raises $2.7M

Dallas-based MicroTransponder, a developer of a medical device for the treatment of chronic pain, has raised $2.7M in funding, according to a recent regulatory filing by the firm. Source of the funding was not disclosed. According to the filing, the investment included both equity and warrants. MicroTransponder is developing wireless neurostimulation systems.
