MicroTransponder Finds $3.0M
Dallas-based MicroTransponder, a developer of neurostimulation devices being used to treat tinnitus, has raised $3.0M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. The filing indicates the company is in the midst of raising $7.38M. Details on the funding have not been announced by the company, which has previously raised capital from a network of angel investors. The filing indicates the new funding is a Series B preferred stock funding. MicroTransponder is led by Frank McEachern--formerly an attorney at Baker and Botts LLP. More information »
