Pivot3 Ramps Focus On Hosted Video Surveillance

Spring, Texas-based Pivot3, a provider of storage virtualization and storage products, said today that it has partnered with a number of hosted software providers in the video surveillance market. According to Pivot 3, it has partnered with Axis Communications, Detexi, Iveda Solutions and Salient Systems, among others, offering up its hosting platform in conjunction with those hosted video surveillance products. Pivot3 said its systems help those provider scale out their hosted video systems. Pivot3 is backed by Northleaf Capital Partners Ltd, Focus Ventures, InterWest Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mesirow Financial Capital Partners IX, and Silver Creek Ventures.
