GameSalad Sees User Boost
Austin-based GameSalad, the developer of iPhone game creation software, reported this week that it has added over 1,200 new users after its launch last week of GameSalad Direct, the firm's new game publishing service. The firm said it was the most successful week ever for the company. GameSalad Direct is the firm's new game publishing service, which serves as an umbrella release brand and service for Apple's iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices. GameSalad, which was formerly known as Gendai Games, makes tools which allows any user to create their own Apple iOS game, without needing any programming skills. The firm is headed by Michael Agustin, with Frank Coppersmith now serving as the firm's Chief Operating Officer.
