GameSalad Debuts HTML5 Publishing Tool
Austin-based videogame development tools developer GameSalad announced today that it has launched a new, standalone HTML5 publishing platform. According to GameSalad, the new feature of its GameSalad Pro service lets its subscribers generate HTML5, server-ready, packaged games, which can easily be embedded in websites. GameSalad said the first game to be published using the new tool is Code Black, a new game from CBS to support its new television show of the same name. GameSalad said its new HTML5 compliant game publishing tool will allow games to easily be shared on such sites as Miniclip and GameJolt, and also does not require developers to host their game on GameSalad Arcade. GameSalad is led by Stephen Nichols.
