Bazaarvoice Launches New Improved Review Display

Austin-based Bazaarvoice, the developer of reviews and ratings software for e-commerce retailers, said today that it has launched a new feature which makes it easier to read reviews. The firm said the capability it is calling "Smart Display," and is available in its Ratings & Reviews, Ask & Answer, and Stories products. The firm said the new feature allows companies to retain "full control" over their visual brand, while making it easier for users to browse reviews and add their own reviews about a product. Bazaarvoice said its studies showed that users using the new Smart Display are 62 percent more likely to write a review, and 37 percent more likely to vote on helpfulness of that review. The firm said the feature is immediately available to its clients.
