Gowalla Goes To Disneyland

Austin-based location based check-in service Gowalla has scored a major win today, saying this morning that it has inked a deal with Disney to feature Disney Parks within Gowalla. According to the firm, it will offer check in to over a hundred different Disney attractions, challenges, and insider trips when visiting the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and other Disney parks. Gowalla said it now features a new Disney Parks at Gowalla page which provides information on the parks. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The new Disney badges from Gowalla include individual badges for rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, as well as individual special "trip" badges for visiting a series of locations within the park. Gowalla said that it will also be retroactively crediting the new Disney stamps to users' passports.
