Dell Wins CBOE

Round Rock-based Dell reported Tuesday that the firm's PowerEdge servers have been selected by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) for a data center upgrade. The two said that Dell was selected to upgrade more than 700 servers running in the CBOE's data center. Financial details of the win was not disclosed. The CBOE is using Dell's PowerEdge R610, R710, and R910 systems. The new systems replace current Sun x86 servers at the CBOE.
