Eltek Valere Wins 4G Wireless Operator

Richardson-based Eltek Valere, which develops high efficiency power systems for the telecom and other markets, said today that its Micropack power system has been selected by a leading 4G wireless operator in the U.S. Name of the new customer was not disclosed, however, Eltek Valere said its products will be used to power a network of picocell sites in major U.S. cities. Eltek Valere's products are used to power communications equipment in those picocell sites, and include batter backup and other features.
