CacheIQ Finds $6M

Austin-based CacheIQ, a developer of caching products for file-based storage, has raised $6.0M in funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm today. Source of the funding was not disclosed. CacheIQ was co-founded by Joel Trammell, Greg Dahl, and Keith Carpenter. The firm is using technology acquired from Storspeed, Inc. back in July for the basis of its caching products, which are used to speed up access to files by data centers. More information »
