AirStrip Technologies Adds To Board

San Antonio-based AirStrip Technologies, a developer of mobile software for the electronic health records business, said today that it has added Alan W. Portela to the firm's board of directors. AirStrip said that Portela is a "leading voice" on the future of information technology, and has worked with developing electronic health records strategy with the Military Health System and a large portion of the Veterans Health Administration. AirStrip is venture backed by Sequoia Capital.
