GENBAND Launches New Product, Deploys With Interoute

Frisco-based GENBAND, which develops IP-based telecom hardware, said Monday that it has launched a new product and deployed with European voice and data provider Interoute. GENBAND said it has launched the GENBAND Mobile Edge Optimization Suite, which is an enhancement to its P Series Traffic and Policy Management Products. The new product helps manage signal overload issues caused by mobile smart devices and mobile data congestion. Separately, the firm said it has signed European telecom interoute, which has deployed its SIP trunking solution. Financial details of that win were not announced.
