Phunware Reports Engagement Numbers
Austin-based Phunware, which develops mobile application development for major brands, reported today that mobile users have consumed more than 100 million minutes of engagement on its platform. The firm--which powers such applications as the Petfinder App, the Undercover Tourist App for Disney World, and the MythBusters App for iPhone, said the amount of time spent comes over the last 12 months. Phunware is headed by Alan Knitowski, and helps brands build their own mobile applications. The firm's other customers include HP Connect, Nokia, McDonald's, and Cambridge University, among others.
