Silicon Labs Power Wireless Mesh Technology

Austin-based Silicon Laboratories said today that its microcontrollers are being used as part of a new, sub-GHz wireless mesh product from California Eastern Laboratories (CEL). Silicon Laboratories said it is providing the wireless microcontrollers used in CEL's MeshConnect Sub-G modules. Financial impact of the win were not disclosed. The two said that CEL is samplings its Sub-G modules now, with mass production planned for Q2.
