Active Power Wins Data Center Operator

Austin-based Active Power reported today that its products are being used by Capgemini, in a new data center in Swindon, England. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Active Power develops uninterruptible power supplies based on flywheel technology. Active Power said that Capgemini is using its CleanSource 1500 kVA UPS unit at Capgemini's Merlin Datacentre Facility.
