Spredfast Adds $2.0M In Funding

Austin-based Spredfast, the social media management software developer headed by Rod Favaron, has added another $2.0M in funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Friday. The firm, which is backed by Austin Ventures, said that one investor participated in the round, which closed on Tuesday. The firm has not yet announced the funding. Spredfast's software is used by companies to manage their customer relationships via social media. Spredfast announced $1.6M in funding last April from Austin Ventures. More information »
