Spredfast Finds $32.5M In Big Growth Funding
Austin-based social marketing software developer Spredfast has indeed raised $32.5M in a big funding round, as the company said this morning that it has raised a growth capital funding led by Lead Edge Capital. According to Spredfast, prior investors Austin Ventures, InterWest Partners, and OpenView Partners also participated in the round. Spredfast said its big new funding will help it accelerate its growth trajectory, and will go towards talent acquisition, product development, and global expansion. Spredfast develops social marketing software used by companies to manage their social programs, and counts such customers as AT&T, REI, and General Mills. The company says it now has 120 employees. Spredfast is led by Rod Favaron. The company has now raised $66.1M in funding in total. More information »
