Spredfast Claims Growth

Austin-based Spredfast, the social marketing software developer led by Rod Favaron, said today that it tripled its revenue and new customers in 2014, and doubled its headcount. The privately held company did not disclose any actual numbers in the announcement, nor did it say how many employees it hired. Spredfast's social software is aimed at marketers, helping them to manage their social activities and social conversations. Spredfast is backed by Lead Edge Capital, Austin Ventures, InterWest Partners, and OpenView Partners.
