Sparefoot Links Into Storage Reservations Network

Austin-based SpareFoot, the provider of an online marketplace for finding self-storage facilities which is backed by Silverton Partners, FLOODGATE, RSH Ventures, and Capital Factory, announced this morning that it has linked into the INSOMNIAC Self Storage Network (ISSN). SpareFoot said that ISSN is a reservation platform, created by an alliance of self storage operators, to accept online reservations. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. ISSN was created by the OpenTech Alliance. SpareFoot said the move will make it easier to automate the process of reservations, and also help to advertise storage facilities on the SpareFoot Network. Sparefoot is headed by Chuck Gordon.
