BuildFax Lands $4M

Austin-based BuildFax, an online database of historical permit data used by the commercial and residential real estate industry, said today that it has raised $4M in funding. The funding was led by DMGI, and also included Environmental Data Resources Inc. The firm said the funding brings is total raised to $13M. The firm previously raised funding from the same investor group in 2009. BuildFax said it covers over 60 percent of the U.S. commercial and residential building stock. More information »
