Gazzang Names Finance and Ops VP

Austin-based Gazzang, the developer of cloud security tools for MySQL and other databases, said today that it has named Patti Soch as Vice President of Finance and Operations. Soch joins the firm after serving as a consultant offering CFO services to early stage, venture backed companies. She also has served at Phurnace Software, System Fabric Works, VIEO, Visible Decisions, UniSQL, and Uniplex. Gazzang is headed by Larry Warnock, and backed by Austin Ventures.
