MapMyRIDE Snags Cyclist For Spokesperson

Austin-based MapMyRide, the cycling website of MapMyFitness, the developer of web and mobile applications focused on health and fitness activities, said today that it has signed Levi Leipheimer, a member of the Team RadioShack Professional Cycling Team, will serve as a spokesperson for MapMyRide. Financial details of the endorsement deal were not announced. Leipheimer was the winner of the 2011 Tour de Suisse. MayMyRide is a web site which provides route mapping, training, and other applications for cyclists. the firm is backed by Austin Ventures.
