Phunware Launches New, Patriotic App

Austin-based Phunware, the mobile apps developer headed by Alan Knitowski, said today that it has rolled out a new, patriotic app just in time for the 4th of July. The firm said its new Our America app allows users to share photos from across the country, and create digital postcards, which they can share through Twitter and Facebook. The new, free app--available for the iPhone and iPod touch--also includes a gallery of photos of America, landmarks, and more. Phunware is a developer of branded, mobile applications, including the apps for Discovery Channel, Mythbusters, a Disney World wait time app, and more.
