TAOS Completes Merger With austriamicrosystems

Plano-based Texas Advanced optoelectronic Solutions (TAOS), the supplier of light sensors and other analog and mixed-signal chips, said this week that it has completed its merger with austriamicrosystems. The two had announced the deal in June. TAOS said the deal was worth approximately $320M, with austriamicrosystems acquiring 100 percent of its shares. austriamicrosystems AG is a devleoper of analog ICS for the consumer, communications, industrial, medical and automotive markets.
