Outsourcer Plans To Hire 4,000 In Texas, U.S.

Aegis Limited, a business process outsourcing firm with operations in Irving and Killeen, said this morning that it has plans to hire more than 4,000 workers in the United States over the next two years. The firm, which is headquartered out of India, said the work will be created at its u.S. contact centers. The firm announced the hiring plans as part of joining an effort called jobs4america, focused on retraining and expanding contact center jobs in America. Aegis has two call centers in Irving with a total of 1,160 seats, and one in Killeen, Texas, with 1,200 seats, in addition to locations in Florida, Arizona, Missouri, West Virginia, New York, and internationally. Aegis itself has over 50,000 employees over 12 countries.
