KLD Energy Technologies Taps Chinese Manufacturer

Austin-based KLD Energy Technologies, a developer of electric propulsion systems, said today that it has selected a Chinese contract manufacturer for its electric motor systems. The firm said it has selected Zhenjiang Qianjiang Motorcycle Co., Ltd. for contract manufacturing. Qianjiang is a two-wheeled vehicle manufacturer with an annual output of more than one million electric vehicles, KLD said. KLD is targeting its initial products towards two-wheel, electric vehicles.
