Dell Completes Force10 Networks Buy

Round Rock-based Dell said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of data center networking equipment firm Force10 Networks. Financial details of the acquisition have not been announced. Dell said that Force10's technology will complement and accelerate its data center solutions portfolio. The deal had originally been announced in July. Force10 had been venture backed by Advanced Equities, Crosslink Capital, Morgenthaler Ventures, New England Partners Capital, New Enterprise Associates,, US Venture Partners, and Worldview Technology Partners.
